You cannot blame what that scumbag Campbell did on Celtic fans singing rebel songs. The Scottish authorities also said these songs were sectarian which they are not but that is nothing new, the scottish league wanted Celtic to remove the tricolour from Parkhead which they would not.
Iâve been to huge amount of soccer marches all over Europe with Celtic and Ireland and to Wimbledon games when I lived in London. I rarely felt potential violence apart from Chelsea fans when they Wimbledon in the FA Cup at Highbury.
The lads who go over from the north of Ireland give Celtic Park atmosphere. Some of the scottish Celtic supporters are as boring as the old colonels at an Irish rugby game.
Holy Jesus it gets worse.
What would you know about it?
Enough, more than enough.
You donât know what youâre talking about.
Iâve been a frequent visitor to Celtic Park for 20+ years.
And Iâve lived it Scotland for a considerable duration and experienced the anti-Irish undercurrent that is prevalent in the West of Scotland.
Not as bad as the anti Irish undercurrent in South Dublin Iâd imagine?
Probably on a par, pal.
However the unrepentant pride and backbone shown by the Irish community in Glasgow and further afield in the west of Scotland leads to more confrontation. The domestically based Irish generally bow in a servile nature to the Green Huns who run the country.

Thatâs no different to Ireland as a whole. Enda Kenny and Bertie before him are both hun bastards.
I meant what would you know about me or my experiences?
Nothing.
The ridiculous posts from Ebenezeer still have little to do with you living in Scotland. Itâs mostly ridiculous for the length of droll rolling nothingness. But the throwing of how irish he is cos he supports an non- Irish team and hates the Irish rugby team is retarded. As well as the utter crap he talks about people from the 26 counties etc and that"Ulster people" create the atmosphere in Celtic Park and the locals are boring.
What a fucking load of crap that is.

What would you know about attending matches at Celtic Park or Scottish society?
Nothing, so shut the fuck up passing comment.

Enough.
You are a fool. Do you think you are the only Irish person to go to Celtic Park? The only Irish person to have lived with Scots? Donât make an even bigger fool of yourself like you did on the Tyrone thread.
I had, and still have really, access to a number of season tickets to Celtic Park for years.

I donât think I am the only Irish person to go to Celtic Park but I am fully endorsing @Ebeneezer Goodeâs recollection of the Celtic matchday experience and his depiction of Scottish society as it is similar to my experience. You (as usual) are spoofing on something you know nothing about and have zero practical experience about. There are quite a few people on this board who travel regularly to Celtic games and Iâd imagine they will reject your irrational assertions.

The partition of this island left two conservative governments both north and south which became deep rooted and never went away. It destroyed what was envisaged by the proclamation of a fair and just society for Ireland.
The rugby fraternity was always deeply conservative and how others have tried so desperately hard to get into their group in the last 20 years by throwing away our anthem and flag so easy, shows as a nation we have no confidence in ourselves and still strive to crawl up the classes like west brits.
Doesnât the rugby have a united Ireland team though?
Would die hard nationalists not concede amhrainn na bfhiann for a neutral anthem for a united Ireland?
Genuine questions btw.
I have no interest in having a discussion on this with someone of your sectarian bias, low social intelligence and narrow mind. But for what itâs worth I actually didnât offer any opinion on Scottish society.
If you are talking about people with identification issues like bandage and yourself as people on the board who travel a lot then I have no interest whatsoever in discussing it with wannabes like ye. Just the reason I avoid nearly all conversation on here since I joined about Celtic, most of it is utter tripe. Only Rocko to me seems genuinely connected to the club emotionally and actually has a real interest in the football team. The rest are armchair spoofers.

There are hardcore republicans, an I mean the real deal, that go to rugby games. You are talking narrow minded nonsense. Itâs nowhere near as black and white as that.
This utter horseshit that you have to hate another country or culture to show how much you love your own really grates me. To me it shows you donât really understand your own culture at all.
Singing songs does not make you a patriot.

You have no interest in having a discussion about something you know zero about. You just like to throw a few close-minded assertions about things you have no experience of and know nothing about and you canât take it when somebody challenges you on it. Itâs amazing the way you feel like you can speak for and identify with people whose lives you do not understand and then have the audacity to call them narrow-minded.
