The Segunda has utterly usurped the other league in terms of talent and prestige(not to mention honor).
Whoever wins this seasons Segunda will be universally acknowledged as having the number one franchise on the board. He will be acclaimed as the undisputed champion of fantasy football by sports lovers everywhere.
The other league has become a complete irrelevence, brought down by it’s own corruption just like Fianna Fail. And just like Fianna Fail no one will want anything to do with it except bug eyed hicks like Puke and Bandage who don’t know any better, bless their cotton socks

This seems to have been lost on everyone even tho I’ve repeatedly said it- the league GMs urged me to break away, I’d do nothing without their consent.
The only option I’d buy into would be two brand new leagues.

Incorrect, I merely asked the reasoning behind his tactics. @Mac[/USER] made accusations before [USER=168]@ChocolateMice saw his chance to try and cause a shit storm.
It’s notable that the Segunda members facing missing the play offs and the 1st Division members facing relegation are the main backers for a schism.

At this moment in time, I can do no more. I tried reason with the GM of the segunda league, but for some reason, the voices in his head kept telling him to split. No matter what calm methods I had of trying to bring discussions to the table, and having thought a cease fire was agreed, he still went off and reacted hastily.
Whilst I and all of our colleagues in the First Division have been a rock of support to the segunda members, at this moment in time, thats all we can do. Its not up to us to meddle in their civil war. I will not be propositioning their members to revolt. However, if they do so, I would expect the First Divison GM’s to give their whole hearted support to any exiled franchises.
This includes @ChocolateMice if he is ousted. However, he has grown in strength since he took power, maybe it came too soon for him. Going from a complete novice asking how things are done, to splitting the board. I feel it may be too much too soon for him, and I genuinely worry about his well being. There is only so much one can take on their shoulders, and I hope he is strong enough to get through this.

I’m in a fantastic shot of the playoffs, as is Laz and Crutches . Jimmy Mc also gave the go ahead and he is pretty much assured a playoff spot after this weekends results.
