While cutting that thicko @Tierneevin1979 down to size on the whiskey thread I remembered a great intro to a cookery programme. A slightly pissed floyd said that if a wine wasn’t good enough to drink then it wasn’t good enough to cook with, he then horsed in a mouthful just to be sure. At the end of the show a bolloxed floyd fired a broken omlette onto a plate and proclaimed that if a wine was good enough to cook with then it must surely be good enough to drink, before downing the last of the bottle.
I wanted to share the clip with the forum but couldn’t find it. This will have to do. Great banter.
