Barossa tears that year. Region was literally on fire

They’d a 2020 too but the label on this was cleaner

It’s my dad’s 90th the first week of August and we’ve a big family dinner in kirwans lane.
My bro bought him this

:flushed: :yum:

I hope he likes it!

Me too. He was told it would be “drinkable”
We chipped in for an electric bike for him.

That’s a very thoughtful present. It’s amazing to think of all that has happened in the world since that wine was bottled.

You on the other hand trying to finish off the poor divil buying him an electric bike.

He still cycles 10 miles a day on a mountain bike I bought him. The electric bike is to try and make sure he can keep getting out and about.
Agree about the wine. It’s amazing what it sat quietly through.

He must be some man. Is that the Cannondale you bought him?

It is. A green one
My sister took him into Halfords to pick an electric one, and the young fellas said “are you the lad that cycles the back roads every day?”
She said he was delighted with himself.

Was the Cannondale recommended to you?

No, I went in with him, I know a small bit about bikes so know what to look for. Cannondale are always good. They’ve been an innovative brand, but the big bike brands are mostly good. Someone told me at the height of the cervelo love in, before all the quality problems surfaced, that Trek had more people working in their carbon research department than cervelo did in the whole company.
I’d look for value though.
If you’re not a brand snob, planet X sale is a good place to start**

Had this tonight. No real value in any more expensive wines here - this is not much cheaper than at home. Was 35 here. Probably 50 at home.

I’ve noticed the Value is in wines that are 9 to 12 euro here that at home would be 25-35 euro.

Where are you?

I am myself. I prefer lighter reds generally but I’ve had this before and my pal is with me and it’s a sort of classic rioja. This one is actually very smooth and light enough.

Over in Sanguli - beside Cambrils. We were in Cambrils this evening. A lovely town. Full of multi generational Spanish enjoying their Saturday.

I’ll keep an eye out for final tickets if I see them

I’d say there’s more tfkers in Cambrils than Ireland at this stage.

To camp?
