With rent increasing is now the time to buy a 2nd property from the bank

Once you’ve cash for a decent deposit they wont give a shit. Maybe BOI would, PTSB certainly wouldnt.

I’m not sure they wouldn’t care if it’s just simply money going out!

Only houses in absolute shitholes went down to that.

To be fair it still went up to 250k which is 3 times what he paid for it!

You don’t think a bank is concerned about how you’re gonna service the remaining 80-90% + interest? You’re dreaming.

From my dealings with PTSB, they really don’t give a bollix, once you can hide those transactions for three months.

I’m not going to make up stories on the internet to make myself look cool bud. I met a woman I loved as a young man. Bought a house in my mid 20s. Had a child in my early 30s.

I’ve been to Thailand, India, USA and all of Europe with my partner. I’ve brought my child to a good bit of Europe and around Ireland so far.

Life is good man. Pissing money up agin the wall with the lads and riding haunty ones was fun for a bit but the reality is it’s pretty fucking boring.

Absolute bollox. It’s all about repayment capacity now.

I’d want to be paying 20 percent minimum up front. What I’m told though is when the recession kicked in even lads with large deposits were still not given loans.

Don’t worry @anon32894817 you’ll probably die of a cocaine debt or overdose by then. It should buy a small plot in the local parish church you should be investing in

It depends on your deposit, but yeah you’re right.

Awaiting @backinatracksuit now to tell us how we can all live in the SCR.

This is mad shit and getting madder, no surprise to see who’s leading the charge, what a very odd WUM this is though

I’d have a very different outlook to that I would like to settle down till to my mid 30s. Not so much that I want to ride “haunty ones” just simply I enjoy having no commitments. Each to their own I guess.

True, if your deposit was 100% of the amount they don’t care about repayment capacity.

Lot of cash buyers out there.

I’ve two uncles on scr. Not a place I’d like to live.

Do you think life stops when you meet a one?

I still go for pints, go to matches, play golf, meet the lads, play poker, back horses. It’s just when I’m done being a lad I get to go home to a family and a beautiful little girl. It’s some sense of perspective.

It’s not a commitment either. It’s a privilege

Todays youth are detached from their feelings and prospective. Most are addicted to porn and drugs. It’s true and very sad. Hard to find a real man amongst them.

No I just think life moves on. At the moment I wouldn’t no where I’ll be in a few months times and I kind of love that. I appreciate that has to end and you can’t expect a woman to live on a whim but it’s not something I’d like in the next 7-8 years.

In my opinion that’s a very cold, calculated almost sociopathic way of looking at life
