Do those ladies soccer teams get paid? I mean the girls who played in the Spots Direct FAI Cup final yesterday.
I read that some of them play Gaelic Football for their counties as well.
How does all that work?
Think the league is amateur. The league in England and I believe Scotland are professional.
I suppose like a good junior soccer player, they might get a few Euros thrown at them for expenses.

Israel look very good, not sure if the Irish girls who refused to play were stars or not, but thereās a huge gulf here,
Keeping an eye until the end to see if there is any sneaky handshakes, itād be very hard to ignore after a sporting contest
Ireland should not have played. Shame on them and on the players. Like playing in South Africa in apartheid, only worse.

Incorrect. Far from that. I know some close to the side and they were in an awful position. Give up their international basketball careers for some meaningless gesture. I wouldnt wish that on the girls, its simply unfair to expect that of them for such a hollow move.
