Has anyone else noticed a pattern whereby when a single letter is in question, to finish out, that letter tends to be furthest along in the alphabet? I find a sort of pattern in this regard.

Had four possible words on third guess, all of them perfectly plausible. Went with letter furthest along in the alphabet – and hey presto… Could easily have been a six.
