I’m some man to make a mountain out of a molehill. Any simple task can be made into a days work if you know what you’re doing and the others don’t.

It’s key pal. .like a lot of things in life all you have to do is know where best to position yourself . .a conduit liaising with many different stakeholders is where you want to be. .rinsing and repeating as you go…and in all truth if you can make a mountain out of a molehill well that sounds damn productive to me!

Hah. The conduit thing is exactly what I spoof at. A colleague text me about something earlier I said I can’t get to it as I’m at meetings all day. Truth is I’ve one at 4:00 until 5:00. Another from 6:00- 6:45. He doesn’t have a clue what I’m doing for the day.
None of the involved parties do. Sure I’m bigging up the work these things entail.
he probably doesnt really care what you are doing as he’s doing the same thing… You’ve wankhammers feasting on books on work psychology and techniques when all you have to do is open your eyes and look around…very few people are genuinely busy every minute of their working week…plenty of busy fools though as they don’t know the scope of their job and what’s important and what’s not .

Chucking on a set of headphones and a few albums I find does the trick. Blocks out outside distractions and focuses the mind. All the better if you like a bit of auld doom metal (cc @ironmoth) as it generally tends to be repetitive and because no one listens to it ,Youtube haven’t riddled them with ads.
