Germany got a very handy group there. England will have some tough games there against Albania, Andorra and San Marino. They’ll probably cap Patrick Bamford for the San Marino game.

Didn’t Serbia win a Euros or World Cup at U20’s a few years ago? The likes of Mitrovic, Tadic and Milinkovic-Savic will be tidy operators at international level.
The Jocks knocked them out of the Euros. They are good on paper but have a few flakey characters

The 2001-02 team was potentially better, and we held our own against them. Granted we were probably a lot better then too.
Not a bad draw. Serbs very talented but very flaky. The norths draw would have been a disaster.

went from Nataions League D in 2018 to almost getting to league B this time out- they beat Montenegro 2-1 away along the way
yes there is a Balkan influence in their side like the Swiss but to a lesser extend, 2 of them are born in Luzembourg and one came from Serbia
their squad is full of fellas in the Ukranian, Dutch, Portugese, German and Swedish leagues, I would put them not too far away from the Bulgarian side we faced- we have a bunch of lads in the english championship , we’re even there - we were lucky to stay in league B - they were unlucky not to go up

Starting to resemble France with the flow of talent being produced. Supplementing CR7 with the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Joao Felix (he’s Portuguese isn’t he?), Diogo Jota etc. A much better Portugal team now than won the Euros very fortuitously in 2016.
