There’s a few if’s in there. Surely Trippier comes in. Right back isnt really a concern you’d feel.

They have been the last few games, but Southgate would be taking the loyalty thing to extraordinary lengths if he continued it

Think Trippier will be the right wing back and one of Walker or James will be right centre back in the back 3 with Maguire and Stones.

Walker and James both supposed to be struggling a bit with injury. A bit would need to go wrong still alright. Surely one if them make it.

Southgate has loads of good forwards and attacking midfielders, but plays a system where he can only play three of them.

Stones (maybe) and Rice if he went back, are probably his only centrebacks up to standard, but he plays 3 centrebacks.

There’s no way he can justify starting Mount or Sterling on current form.

James Maddisson has to go and should start but he won’t play him.

It’ll be saka kane sterling with mount behind

Keeper issues too, and if he tries Phillips with Rice they’re fucked

Pickford actually is the best goalie in the EPL this year on all stats. He is saving 80% of the shots against him

Bit of a headbanger though, could do anything. Distribution an issue too?

I’d go Kane up front with Foden Maddison and Saka playing in behind; Bellingham and Rice in front of the back four. Saka and Maddison seem to be flying, Kane got a great goal against Liverpool.

I wouldn’t be far off your thinking

He seems to have calmed down an awful lot with the last while and seems more commanding. I wouldn’t play out from the back with the cunt alright especially if maguire is knocking about

Maddison will probably get a move this summer, find himself not playing quite as well as this, but be starting for England.

Mount is a good player, very industrious, clever and a goal threat, but would just think Maddison has that bit more class than him, technically and with his eye for a pass.

Mount isn’t suited to the role southgate wants, i think, he’s better drifting wide like he does at Chelsea. They really need someone behind Kane that can unlock Foden and Saka or Sterling and Saka.

Kane is a lot of the problem too though, dropping in and killing that space. He should be told to fuck off up top and hang around like haaland

Yeah, Kane was never lightning, but he was what he would’ve described as a strong runner, well able to get in the channels and run off the ball. Son seems to have kind of taken that over at Spurs allowing Harry to mind himself.

He’ll surely have himself primed for this physically as its mid-season, he definitely needs to be the focal point and not be drifting around, especially without Sterling playing although Foden has gotten very good to make runs in behind, off the ball, looks quite explosive these days.

Kane just needs to get between the full back and centre half and hold it up, bring the creative lads up the field. If he is dropping to the half way line and turning, nobody follows him, not in todays game so he is passing it lateral to these lads who have no option to go forward.

Denmark beat france twice in the nations league. France played poorly throughout the group. Not sure they can fix their shape particularly around midfield. Mbappe and benzema are certainly capable of winning any game but they wont get that many chances. Someone will beat them. Can still see mbappe doing wreck against one of the shitter teams maybe and getting 5/6 goals in the tournament.

Denmark and Croatia got 6 and 4 points off France respectively in the nations league. Giroud was starting some of those games.

France are too short missing their starting midfield.

England finally winning it would be funny enough as they wouldn’t be able to fully enjoy it with all the controversy about the venue and fuck all fans there.

Go wash your mouth out with soap.

Despite the report of not many traveling. I’d say there will still be plenty of english fans in the stadium. Expats living in Dubai and other nearby spots
