World Cup's top 100

Wrong! Pelé was injured in the group stages and didn’t have a key part at the 1962 World Cup

It’s not the Top 100 World Cup Players Scrunchie remembers.

What age were you for Gascoigne’s World Cup? 7?

I was alive anyway.

You were 5 so?

60-21

Ronaldo 33rd
Messi 51st

What way will that he after Portugal win the WC this summer?

I can’t wait for this debate in 4 years’ time.

Neither Messi or the prancing, preening, fairy queen should be anywhere near the top 100.

Both have failed to deliver in World Cups so far.

Andreas Brehme should be higher than 53. Absolutely immense for West Germany in 1986 and 1990 and probably the best left-back in the history of the competition.

Chris Morris is mate

Whoever compiling this list is clearly a retard.

Lothar Mathäus & Zico

He was a right back

But you were sitting in a field breathing in the joy of haybaling for most of it.

Lothar Mathaus picks himself in 7th…

  1. Pele
  2. Maradona
  3. Beckenbauer
  4. Ronaldo
  5. Zidane
