Not Corks fault, Limerick would have demolished any team today
I’d disagree.That was THE most complete collapse by a team in a final since 2008.Zero marking,Junior B full back line,Lads fumbling ball all over the shop and the rank stupidity of launching ball into a 3 on 2 Limerick full back line.Utterly shambolic.
Antrim would have done better.

The difference in intent between both sets of forwards when a short puck out was taken summed it up. Limerick’s forwards swarmed to the ball and hit the man in possession hard, Cork forwards stood around watching as Byrnes, Nash, Gannon or Hayes received the ball and drilled it into the full forward line.
Limerick would have beaten any team in the country but most sides would have at least put in some hits and honest effort for 30 minutes and made it some bit of a contest

Huge difference in desire and workrate between the 2 sets of forwards for sure.
It was like Cork were standing back admiring the Limerick backs.I don’t recall one decent tackle from them either.
Mind boggling at that level.
There is no shame coming off second best to a far superior side. Go out and burst your bollocks and if that keeps you in the game for 30/40/50 odd minutes before the class really tells then fair enough.
But when you collectively bottle it like that you may as well forget about it. A very long winter ahead to dwell over it too.
Take nothing away from Limerick who will walk all over you if you show that type of weakness but that was an abject effort from Cork, all the more considering it was a final
