Antrim is worse
New Ross is rough enough but it has enough redeeming features I thought. Not great but not terrible

I know a few lads based in Shannon involved with a Security firm ran by a Derry lad in Tallaght.
It’s a kip. A total kip.
More an Industrial Estate than a conventional town though.

There is also an industrial estate and airport with the same name.
Shannon was used to rehome nordies during the troubles
Athy is atrocious alright. But Portarlington is getting there. A dive.
The worst place I’ve ever seen was somewhere in Limerick. Trying to take a short cut to the Gaelic Grounds. Passed through this absolute kip of an area. Horses, boarded up windows, rubbish burning in the front yards. Couldn’t drive out of it quick enough.
