Worst pubs in Dublin

Back tracking weasel. What you’d come to expect from him really.

I await his witty retort. He’s fuming since I stuck him on ignore a while back.
Yeah, saying you want a shithole pub with its exorbitant prices and terrible bar service burnt to the ground means you want a load of people to be killed inside in it.

What an utter cunt you are Blue Boy.
You’re a horrible creature mate. It’ll catch up with you in time I fear.

We ok for pubs under Dawson St though? The Lounge is a grand spot.

That new one in Ballsbridge

The arsonist in my mind will gladly provide the petrol.

Conways in Blackrock is a soul deprived shithouse. McGowans in Stillorgan has some strange creatures masquerading as customers.

As has The Orchard.

Yeah, I always forget about that place. People go on about town being dangerous at closing time, don’t think you’ll find a more concentrated area of scumbaggery than McDonalds in Stillorgan at 2.30am on a Saturday night.

Its not McGowans anymore I thought

Yeah, Bolands is on the sign, but nobody calls it anything other than McGowans

Twas always Boland’s. Was only McGowan’s for only 2 years or so.

Ah look, I’m only a blow in

Is there a Blake’s pub in Stillorgan? The first one on the left as you come up the hill from the N11 before the cinema entrance…I think it was called Blake’s back then. Used to drink there many years ago when I first started work in Dublin and lived in Orpen in Stillorgan.

If you’re on about the one with the car park immediately on the left when you come off the N11, I think it’s called something else, think it’s an Indian even.

It’s derelict at the minute as far as I’m aware. Lots of commuters using it as a free park and ride.

Bolands is a complete eyesore and is full of drugged up kids at the weekend.

Haven’t been up there yet but I’ve been told The Galloping Green is a good spot.

No, apologies for confusion. The first building after that on the left. It’s the building on the corner after the slip road junction. Literally the first building on that row of units on the left which also contains the cinema, a chipper etc.

I’d say you might in tallaght or clondalkin. Finches aka the slaughter house in ronanstown might give stillorgan a run for its money. The blue light is one of the best boozers in dublin, characters, good pints, and none of the steak on a stone crowd that pack into the step inn to watch the rogby.

The galloping green is a fine spot

Nah there’s feck all scum bags on a Saturday night in Stillorgan. Few kids with ‘notions’. Nothing more.

McCarthy’s Chipper in Neilstown probably trumps it
