Would you go to a match if you had no tickets?

Guilty. And I’ll do it again so I will

Lads was thinking about going to a game in Europe, I don’t really mind where. Thinking of one of the top clubs Dortmund, Madrid, or one of the Italian teams. I’m easy enough. Has anyone used Vivagogo? Is it dodgy. I know you’re paying multiples of the face value but don’t mind one off if it was safe. Used it before when I was in Madrid and went to an Atletico game and worked ok. Really fancied a Dortmund game. Registered on their website but seems very limited.

Haven’t used it but I found Ticombo recently enough.

You can see the feedback for each seller unlike Viagogo.

Slightly off topic so apologies but is there anyone on this board who might have an in to get some seemingly very scarce George Ezra tickets for the O2 in late September. Have promised the daughter I had them as I thought there would be no problem getting them. I’m dead if this doesn’t work out!!

I used Viagogo to get tickets for a PSG game in Parc De Princes. No issues with them.

I went to Dortmund v Spurs in champions league three years ago. It was a bit of a pain getting tickets through Dortmund club website (had to be a member) and other contacts. In the end got them through viagogo and it was 100%. Cost price of tickets at end opposite yellow wall was around €25 and we got ours for around €50 each if memory serves me right. We had to go out and collect them from a room in a university that afternoon and they had good few tickets to dish out.
Stayed in an Airbnb and flew into Düsseldorf and got train - very handy. Spent the next day there in the Altstadt - good spot.

Yikes. Good luck. Will pass on any info if i hear it…

Toutless closer to the gig will be your saviour

Vivagogo are a shower of robbing cunts. They take some mark up but are safe.

Again i might add a shower of cunts

Real Madrid are very easy to get tickets for, the run of the mill league games anyhow. I’ve gone a couple of times just on spec. Their business model is geared towards getting weekend visitors in I’d imagine

Hasn’t he put on extra shows?

Dortmund can be awkward for tickets. Big stadium so you can often get them outside the ground but it’s a bit shit not being certain and I guess it depends on if you’re going with others.

But you could go to that part of Germany and probably get two decent Bundesliga games over a weekend with Cologne, Leverkusen, Monchengladbach, Schalke Dortmund, Bochum together or at least a second division one and a top flight game.

Milan is fairly easy for tickets from experience. Even for a big game. Bought tickets for a derby match the day before at a bank.

I’d avoid Viagogo if you can. If you’re stuck ask a young lad at a hotel to sort you out and they can usually find something for you and you don’t mind giving them a finders’ fee.

With a few months’ notice I could probably get you tickets for Tallaght either but @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy frowns on day trippers.

Thanks mate. Milan wouldn’t be a bad shout.

That’s what I’m betting the house on. It’s worked before for me but a good few years ago. Seems busier than ever on there? I’ll need to set up an alert.

@habanerocat Yep, but they’ll be like a consolation prize. I’ve a written contract on a birthday card. It was part of her bday thing.

@Juhniallio thanks for that!

Very overpriced I found. I want to psg last season and it was class. Got tickets through some fan site where season ticket holders are.allowed resell their seats for limited number of home fixtures. Can dig it out if you’re looking to go to Paris

Dortmund game

Pal was at one last weekend, looked absolutely unreal. Said best sporting event he was ever at in terms of party atmosphere in the stands.

Was mad go to see Napoli when in Naples but didn’t coincide with a match.

Sound

Real and Atletico both home the Saturday and Sunday mid September. Could get the two in with a one nighter.
