Joey Bartonâs starting tonight too. Controversy is likely to follow in some manner or other.
Apparantly, Joey hasnât had a drink since he went inside.
I have a slight interest in this as I used to be a Newcastle fan (12 years) before I switched to United and Cristiano last Christmas.
Whatâs the story with Rob Leeâs tight suit trousers? His balls are bursting out of them.
Jamie Redknapp likes his trousers painted on also, along with his skinny ties
Chelsea boss Scolari lines up 4m move for Newcastle striker Owen.
Chelsea are considering a shock move for Newcastle striker Michael Owen.
Blues boss Luiz Felipe Scolari is lining up a 4m bid for Owen, who is out of contract next summer.
Scolari is keen to recruit a top-class striker as cover for Didier Drogba, who has just returned from a calf injury, and Nicolas Anelka, according to The Sun.
His first choice was Brazil striker Luis Fabiano but he has been scared off by Sevillaâs price tag of 25m.
Owen, who earns 108,000 a week at St Jamesâ Park, failed to put pen to paper on a new deal at the start of the season.
The injury-plagued 28-year-old, who has scored 21 goals in 50 appearances since his 16m switch from Real Madrid three years ago, is free to talk to clubs in January.
But Scolari may face competition from Tottenham, who are also on the look-out for a striker.
Boss Harry Redknapp knows a move for Owen would be cheaper than signing Jermaine Defoe, who is valued at 12m by Portsmouth.
Owen, fit again after a groin injury, believes Newcastle will continue to head up the table.
He said: 'We know weâre a decent team. If we have a good run, fifth, sixth or seventh place is not impossible.

They better have a defibrillator in the dugout so, they might need it sooner rather than laterâŚ
And Joeâs been admitted to hospital as a precautionary measure after complaining of feeling unwell. Itâs related to his dodgy ticker alright.
More comedy from St James Park. I thought this was an April Foolâs gag when I heard it this morning.
You are in a dogfight to stay in the EPL and your looking for a manager.
Surely the first thing you would do is get a man with a bit of experience.
Not in Geordieland you dontâŚapparently they think Alan bloody Shearer will get them out of this mess.
They deserve to go down
Has to be an April fools gag - it couldnt be real?
my first thoughts too mac.
It was announced last night, unconfirmed mind you, on Sky Sports News. Yellow banner headline and all.
Magpies suspend Barton
Newcastle midfielder Joey Barton has been suspended from the club until further notice.
The controversial 26-year-old, who was sent off for a reckless challenge on Liverpools Xabi Alonso on Sunday which cost him a three-match ban and ended his season, has been told to stay away as Alan Shearer attempts to save the club from relegation.
A club statement said: Newcastle United can confirm that Joey Barton has been suspended from the club until further notice.
The club will be making no further comment on the matter at this time.
A report today suggested the former Manchester City player was involved in a furious dressing room bust-up with Shearer after the game at Anfield.
If Barton nutted Shearer all previous sins should be immediately forgiven and he should be referred to as an alright sort.
Barton is an utter utter cunt.
A photo of him in the IT smirking in front of the Liverpool fans after chopping down Alonso confirms that for me.
He has zero interest in playing football. Newcastle are about the only club who would touch this wanker
He was a quality player with City when City had little or no quality. Utterly crazy deranged, but for all heâs done, if the best you can come up with is, smirking in the direction of some opposing fansâŚ
Serious issues, but like I said, if he nutted Shearer, then all is forgiven imo. *
Barton is indeed an utter utter cunt, and if it wasnt for him being a decent footballer, which in fairness he is good, heâd be locked in a cell somewhere. An absolute disgrace to the game tho.
Have Newcastle won a game under Big Al yet

It just shows to me that he had no interest in winning the ball in that tackle. All he wanted to do was rise the Liverpool fans. He doesnât deserve to be let near a football pitch such is his cuntishness.
Alan Shearer is a five star legend compared to this fucktard
