Congratulations to the Meath ladies, I really enjoyed that. A nice underdog story with them coming out of nowhere to win it this year beating the dubs going for five in a row. Mick bohan is a nice fella he spoke really well afterwards. Ladies football is a fantastic spectacle, pound for pound more enjoyable than the men’s at the moment.

A teacher in my young lads school. He’s Senior Infants. His excitement levels have been off the charts all week, they all wore the gear in and gave her a big send off on Friday. A real life hero for him for him and all the other kids to look up to. You cant beat those sort of local role models for kids.

The midfielder who gets the ball direct from the kickout and again around the 45 has a glorious way of soloing, its absolutely perfect technique and rare you would see it.

I don’t see any issue with handpassing as long as its done with purpose with people making forward runs as it was in that video there. You’re just going to lose the ball if you kick it
