It was a beauty. However, Flynn’s point was utterly breathtaking. Roll on 2016 - hopefully we get another majestic hurler back into the fold. A young man from the hurling stronghold of Oranmore - Niall Burke. His goal off the ground against Cork in the league a few years back was a peach.

Robbie Brady’s goal away to Bosnia, Up there with McAteer’s one against Holland in 01. Johnie Walters gets all the recognition but that lad is a proper player.
That and obviously Limerick winning the u21 AI, was a great tonic after a horrendous senior campaign. Great wins against Tipp, Clare away, Galway.
Wexford never got going in the final unfortunately for them.
