YouTube - The best website in the world?

I think so

How does it make any money though? When Google bought it was there any money changed hands? I read somewhere that there wasn’t

And surely they can’t get away with showing all the stuff they do. You can see full episodes of comedies etc on here…

I thought google would have made the money back through advertising and sponsored links.

Apparantely they got into problems with Viacom over whole episodes of their shows being shown on You Tube.

The problem youtube have is that they rely on users to flag material that should not be on the site.

As regards it being the best website in the world I’d have two other contenders alongside it, Google and Wikipedia. Id hate to choose

What about [url=http://www.thefreekick.com]this old favourite of mine

Didn’t over $1bn change hands when google bought youtube?

I don’t think the copyright thing is youtube’s problem - in fact it’s their success. They’ve grown so quickly that they can claim to be doing their best to monitor copyright infringements while at the same time missing out on millions of violations.

Youtube seems to think I’m a Brexit supporter and for some reason, a fan of Madonna (even though I’ve never searched anything to do with Madonna, though I might now, I had forgotten how fucking good she is).

Are you on the grog?

Think about all devices you use and if any other family members use YouTube on a device you’re signed into. Easily gets skewed.

I am maye, how did you guess?

This is a silly video that I quite enjoyed - a guy trying to predict which countries might violently collapse in the next 20 years (not the UK or Canada because that will be peaceful). At the start he talks about how Sudan and Ethiopia are planning to put a dam over birth of the Nile and completely parch the whole of Egypt, just like the USA did with the Rio Grande. @Tierneevin1979 you might like this.

Never knew you can watch loads of full free movies on youtube now! Decent selection can scroll down underneath heres Terminator.
