12 pubs of Christmas

I was out around Camden St. last Saturday night (see Celeb Spotting thread for further details), was surprised by how few Christmas jumpers were around. I would have expected last Saturday to have been the biggest day for it. I think it’s dying off.

Now that it isn’t cool anymore I will be embarking on a 12 pubs of Arthurs day next year

I was chatting to our mutual friends in The 51 over recent days and they said it’s been quieter but still quite prevalent - they had a fair few last Friday and Saturday. But they said the people doing it have been more low key; being boisterous but not as overbearing/annoying, less zany antics and not breaking/stealing things.

Hi. Please don’t sully the name of the great Arthurs Day. A great night out during the lean times of the recession. Usually coincided with a QF or SF exit of the club championship so we could both drown our sorrows and make up for the lack of drinking the month previous.
