Limerick lost to a better team in Wexford in 1996. Wexford having the man sent off in the first half gave Limerick a lifeline which they still couldnāt make use of. Wexford would have won a lot more comfortably with the full compliment.

94 was their go to ā¦ they loved it ā¦ thought theyād have it in their arsenal forever ā¦ 2018 wiped that and them outā¦ They have nothing now on the current league, munster and world champions.
Ye beat Tipp in a friendly at home by 12 points ffs and that gets ye to Barbados. No wonder events like the 94 are commonplace when failure is rewarded so wellā¦ Sorry not failure, ye won a dead rubber Munster final at home where the opposition stopped playing after half an hour as they decided winning the All-Ireland was probably more important.

Weāre just commemorating the 25th anniversary of probably the most celebrated of the All Ireland wins of the former hurling stronghold of Offaly and the Limerick lads are trying to make it all about them. Real victim complex carry on.

Iāve already commentated on that Geoff ā Offaly hurling will take great solace in this. No doubt it will inspire the current crop to Christy Ring glory next year.
2018 was Hiroshima for a lot of lads. I believe a few marriages were destroyed over it.
Itās sad to see how they have gone. I hope Mick Fennelly can do a rebuilding job on them like Brian Cody used to do on Mick Fennelly.

Tom Condon killed TFK. Limerick being reigning All Ireland, League and Munster Champions at one stage was dancing on the grave really, it took the piss.

I must say Iāve good time for a lot of the Limerick posters here but a lot of the boys are showing themselves up to be complete fannies here today.
