I believe Tom Condon is being celebrated ā¦ and yes, I see what you did there.
Sure we might have another two won by than please god.
come down off your high horse, youāll break your neckā¦
the thread may or may not have started with those intentionsā¦
it didnāt take long for it to descend into the usual choke and breakdown jibes. No moral high ground for you here bud
I had just started 6th class and our teacher was from Offaly. She didnāt have any voice on the Monday (we were surprised she turned up) and fairly sure she stunk of drink until the Thursday. She was a lovely lady.
my memories of that day, I didnāt go up, we watched it at home.
When Offaly got the run on us, I remember vividly the sheer fucking anger out of the auld lad, roaring and screaming for someone to start a fight, or run onto the field or do fucking something.
it was like one of those Hitler memeāsā¦ the pure anger, the realization and the devastation.
Shellshock. Pretty much the recurring theme for the next 24 years.
When I was in 4th class I saw my teachers diddies.
moobs or boobs?
Boobies

Sister Assumpta?
No, Mrs Ryan.
the alchie wan in Sextons? Ma Ryan?
There were very few jibes on this thread until @anon26343222 chimed in and made a fool of himself and changed the discussion from 1994 to today. Sure I was only firing in twee anecdotes about my childhood football boots in the earlier posts
No, I was out in Moyross ā she was young enough iād say, about 26/27 - of course that was ancient to usā¦ She wasnāt wearing a bra ā she was wearing a round neck jumper so there was no issue bending over and seeing from the front ā the issue was it was loose at the bottom and she was leaning over onto another a desk helping with an art thing or something like that and the bottom of the jumper was hanging down and right in my eyeline as I was sat in my seat ā¦ two lovely white diddies that I can still recall to this day.

Post 17 @Esteban_de_la_Sexfacā¦ At least I actually attempted to discuss the matchā¦
Itās one of the few All Ireland Hurling Finals Iāve missed attending in the last 30 years. Had a family funeral that day, or the removal in the afternoon for an aunt. Was keeping an eye on it on the television at the wake in the house. The cortĆØge was leaving for the church at 5.30 and prayers and all that at 5. Television was turned off a minute or two before the first goal went in. Limerick were 6 up and didnāt give it a seconds thought after that as it was a done deal. Pre mobile days so didnāt hear until about 10 oāclock in the pub after the church that Offaly had won.
Kings with no crown, canāt wait to hammer ye next year, could get ugly for ye, we should meet up before throw in, I can show you the best vantage point , also the exit as I know they way ye like to duck out early when we get going.
Nice to see the thread back on track - albeit on a more sombre note (RIP) - with memories of the day
