Only certain Liverpool supporters ‘constantly’ berate Lucas (the lanky streak variety). He has been one of the better players this season. Meireles has settled in nicely and is playing some lovely stuff… all a bit easy for both tonight though.
Lucas wasn’t used as a scapegoat. He was just generally awful last season and at the start of this season. But he has done well tonight.
