I think you’ll find that PDC fans never really bother mentioning the Brutal Darts orginisation but followers of the Brutal Darts Orginisation seem obsessed with the PDC.
Anyway, give it a year or two and the PDC will have bought the BDO.

Flano, although it may have been amusing initially, your ill thought out bullshit that anybody who prefers the BDO over the Oi Oi Oi crowd is wumming is now getting very tiresome. Very tiresome indeed. Please desist. This forum has a well deserved reutation for knowledgeable darts discussion. Don’t ruin it.
Well said, sid. It’s not us that possess the inferiority complex. As I said, I was barely visible on the PDC thread as I don’t like the BNP, Combat 18, James Corden or support the England football team. My interest is discussing real people playing real darts in front of a respectful and knowledgeable crowd. That’s why l post on this thread.
It has its well deserved reputation for darts knowledge because of me. I never said you were wumming I’m saying Bandage is wumming because of his past praise for the PDC. You on the other hand have maroon tinted glasses on.
How could it be the third or fourth time I asked the question when the only time I posted in this thread post Waites defeat was to ask said question?Deary me.
Thanks for answering question Bandage and Sid. I lost a few euro on Waites as I must admit I thought he was the best darts player in the competition. I didn’t count on higher standard in this compared to Grand Slam. Oh well still loving it anyway.
Has anyone any money on winner? Adams looks very good but seems wide open.
Massive quarter final clash now between Stephen Bunting and Dean Winstanley.
Winstanley has just gone 2-1 up. Amazing darts from him in the last set, Bunting has 6 180s so far, he must be wondering just how he is behind.
Sublime bullseye finish from Winstanley to go 3-1 up. This guy has serious, serious scoring power.
What a match. What a fucking match. Deano goes 3-1 up by winning the fifth leg of the set on the bull with his last dart. Magnificent. Absolutely magnificent. You can’t beat watching the Lakeside in the pub over a few pints.
Ah this is tremendous stuff. Another bull finish from Winstanley to go 2-0 up in this set with a 4-1 lead very much on. And it is 4-1 as I write.
Did you know?
Dean Winstanley wears an Irish tricolour lapel on the right hand collar of his shirt. He does that to honour Martin McCloskey’s brilliant performance in beating him in the quarter finals of the World Masters a couple of months ago. The German Open, England Open and Belgium Open champion is clearly very much an alright sort.
The Yorkshire man is one lleg away now. He didn’t realise his double 12 shot had gone in for a second!
What darts
Deano does it after Bunty showed some fantastic character to take the set right to the wire. Successive 180’s by both players in the last leg, amazing drama.
In 1991, an unheralded Yorkshire man by the name of Dennis Priestley won the World Championship on his debut.
In 2001, an unheralded Yorkshire man by the name of John “Boy” Walton won it, having never previously won a match on the Lakeside stage.
In 2011, a Yorkshire man on his very first appearance at Lakeside has a mighty chance of repeating the feat of the above two.
What a trend, sid. It’s like Spurs winning the cup when the year ends in ‘1’. It was my privilege to watch that match. Yet another Lakeside epic.
Of course Winstanley is not the only Yorkshire man still involved in this tournament. No less a man than Yorkshire captain Garry Thompson up now playing Jan Dekker in the last quarter final. When you consider Scott Waites’s form over recent months as well as John Boy’s resurgence, it’s very much the place to be in darting terms at the moment.
What can I say about Tommo’s walk on tune by the way? Glory, glory, glory Garry Thompson indeed. Wonderful stuff by Geoffrey Oi!Cott.

Tommo was 3-0 up and within a leg of going 4-0 but Dekker is hitting his doubles and has it back to 3-2 now.
Ah yes. 2-2 in the sixth set, Dekker looking like drawing the match level, and a 152 outshot from the Cougar proves decisive. 4-2 Tommo.
Is that Thompson’s bird they keep showing? She looks fairly decent considering he looks not unlike:

There hasn’t been a break of throw in something like 14 or 15 legs.
Double Dekker dramatically holds throw and it’s Dutch delight at Lakeside. 4-3.
Bit harsh on Tommo Thrawneen? She looks decent alright. We finally got our break of throw and it’s the Diutchman who looks likely to bring us all the way to a final set.
