Any chance of Scott Evans pulling of a win in the Badminton?

Dramatic scenes in the Mens Team Gymnastics final. The Brits were going nuts with joy over securing a silver medal for the first time in a hundred years or something, and then the Japanese appealed successfully and got the British team busted down to bronze. They made the best of it but you could tell they weren’t happy. I didn’t see the presentation but apparently there was some booing for the Japanese.

Some swim there by the 15 yo Lithuanian, serious achievement, and not helped by the false start by the American.

North Korea dominating the Mens Weightlifting. Another gold just there now in the 62kg.

Who’s the baldy pundit for the swimming. His nose looks uncannily like Kryten’s in Red Dwarf.

Take that you fucking cunt bastarts.

C’man the Japanese!

for a start the website http://www.eurovisionsports.tv/london2012/ is a godsend for those of us abroad,
12 live channels showing different events with no commentary, and also another section where you can watch live TV coverage from any european country’s main broadcaster, BBC1, BBC3, RTE, CANAL+.etc

Ive been really struggling to sit down and watch swiming for an evening , ive tried the last few nights and its just not working , i watched the RTE coverage online tonight and maybe its just me but the 2 lads in the studio discusing the upper back movement of a 16 year old chineese bird as he ploughs through the water is a little boring after a while,

anyway, 2 sports that have been catching my watching and betting attention lately are water polo and olympic handball.
water polo is some brutally tough game, the Balkan countries seem to be dominating with likes of Romania who smashed up team GB last night and Montenegro who only lost to the yanks by a point very much to the fore.
Team GB resembled a bunch of spineless, well heeled chaps while the Romanians had the appearance of utter thugs, the latter seems to be the way to go, tackling an opponent involves attempted drowning or hauling folk underwater by ther speedos and the brits clearly werent up for this type of shenanigans

Handball is a pretty big game in southern europe, i watched all the european chanpionships that were held in Belgrade back in Jnauary ( and probably the last time in a long time a major sporting tournament wll be held in Serbia after the violence that followed most games and the ambushes, stabbings, shootings of croat fans crossing the border), this tournament was won by Denmark who beat the Serbs in riotous final where a Danish lad had a coin thrown in his eye from the crowd amoungst others,

tomorrow serbia play croatia at 4-30, the serbs are best priced 11-5 with PP and thats a bargain IMO, they beat the croats well in Belgrade in the semi, albeit the atmosphere was bad to say the least but with virtually the sames sides lining out, a derby, 11-5 is way overpriced to me…

im waching a nice ladies game here now between Norway and sweden, i backed norway -4.5 and currentlly they are 14-9 to the good at the end of first quarter, some decent talent on show also…
A boring enough post really but its sums up my olympic experience so far

ill add that the fat irish clown who fell off the drugged up horse today in an embarrassment to the country as SR pointed out earlier…

whats gone wrong with the womens beach volleyball, leggins?? t-shirts???

All the hot babes are in the weightlifting, mate.

your sick, thats some sick shit, jeasus thats just not right, your unnatural

You obviously weren’t watching BBC1 a few minutes ago when Zoe Smith was on.

Oh and thankfully the fact that the all the beach volleyball girls are hounds will mean people will cop on to what a completely ridiculous game it is.

Greg Louganis looks like Kevin Keegan.

Zoe Smith. :o

She us nit hot lads, give it a break.

Kev’s developed a kiwi accent I see…

The Dutch Hockey team is where its at.

I see Grainne Murphy has withdrawn from the Olympics

Disappointing for the Wexford girl
