2014 National Football League

What a fucking game that was:clap:

We should have won it at the end:mad:

score?

Draw 2-17 3-14. Eoghan O Gara bestrode the game like a Greek God.
Eoghan O Gara  What a vindication for those of us who know our football @Bandage
Cat got your tongue @tazdedub you UCOAM?

Good lord but Coney is raping cork here.

The fucking bastard, after years of tearing Uganda apart he’s now moved onto ripping up another 3rd world county.

When Dublin have everyone available, I’d be amazed if O’Gara is within an asses roar of the starting team.
Surely to fuck, the two Brogans, Mannion, Connolly, Andrews, Flynn, McManamon, Costello and Rock are all better than him? And I’m probably forgetting a forward or two there.

Jason Ryan seems to be weaving his particular brand of magic with Kildare.

Cluxton is some dickhead

Cluxton’s sending off:D

Are the semis going to be in Croke Park again this year?

This is the same O Gara who was called on to see out numerous games for Dublin last year right?

I never had an opinion on Ryan, but fuck it I love him now

It’s been a superb National Football League so far, helped by the introduction of the black card rule, and it augurs well for a smashing championship, even with the unfortunate absences of the great Colm Cooper, and the almost great Michael Meehan.

Gaelic football is in rude health.

Agreed, but still in hurling’s slipstream at present.

There was some savage scores kicked in the Cork vs Tyrone game

Great to see Colm O’Neill amongst the goal scorers.

A joy to watch:clap:

Nope, considering O’Gara was named in the team before throw in and then dropped before the start for young Costello. He will spend the summer on the bench and will be only used as an impact sub like last night.

The guy only has a good shot for goal and thats only because he is in front of it.

Yea his two All Ireland medals on the field of play back up that assessment alright. As for last night, he took the disappointment and still could come on and save the team, now THATS a phenomenal asset to have.

…its actually gas if you watch O´Gara shooting for goal…he always just blasts the ball as hard as he can and usually it is nearly always skewing off his foot and flies upwards…
its nearly always around crossbar height… i rememeber he got a goal against tyrone a few years ago in 1/4 finals and thank fook he was so near the goals when he shot because he practically sliced it into the top corner…

If he is the great player you think he is then how come he hasn’t got an all star yet. I think most Dublin players over the last couple of years have all Ireland’s. He is just an impact sub that’s it, he is now likely to hit the corner flag as to hit the net.
