2015 BDO World Professional Darts Championship - The Magic of Lakeside

Scotty no legs away from the win. He’s into the quarter-finals.

The Mexico of the Lakeside, Geert de Vos, goes out at the last 16 stage yet again.

Jeff Smith leads Big Robbo 3-2 in their last 16 clash, Big Robbo making a comeback after being 3-0 down.

Big Robbo, cast aside by Gary Anderson when Gary turned Pro, can’t say i blame him.

You’re flailing around like a drunken epileptic.

Only for me youd be talking to yourself on this thread.

With Jeff sitting on 25, Robbo hits double 19 with his last dart in the deciding leg of set 6 and we’re going all the way in yet another Lakeside classic™.

Smithy 2-0 up in the final set. And starts leg 3 with a 140. You can’t give yourself any more of an advantage than that.

A 180 would be a bigger advantage, sorry forgot this is the BDO.

Smithy wins the final set 3-1.

Incredible scenes in the final leg.

Smithy missed six darts to win it but big Robbo will be kicking himself at not being able to finish 118 in nine darts. That’s the pressure of the Lakeside.

The Silencer being interviewed here. He’s like an inverse version of Graeme McDowell. The Candaian almost sounds like he’s from Portrush. But he has as much steel and grit as Ireland’s 2010 US Open champion.

20 dart leg to win the game, ha ha ha, pub darts at its finest.

Smith is a great friend of John Part, expect him to make the move to the PDC soon.

He will thrive there with the bigger doubles and trebles.

Jaysus, poor Sharon Prins looks about ready to pop on stage here.

Fallon Sharrock into the semis:clap:

Jamie Hughes and Glen Durrant have both started like a train here, banging the 180s in. This is going to be a an absolute belter.

Serious throwing so far.

Off the hook

Duzza taking the opening set with a 99.99 average.

Is Glen Durrant the best player in the world right now? He’s 2-0 up on Jamie Hughes and playing sensationally phenomenal darts.

Remember that his first round opponent Karel Sedlacek threw a one hundred average and still lost 3-1 to him.
