2017 All Ireland Senior Football Championship, Dublin's continued exploitation of its natural advantages

Was the goal to beat ye in 2016 not a pressure shot?

Yes, mate. And I’ve seen club refs call obvious fouls. Your point? Expand with a point other than I’m dumb, or weak or etc etc etc.

Nope. The free against Kilkenny and the shot to draw against Galway were pressure shots.

Just as well Johnny kept a cool head and made a legitimate hand pass then.

Huh? A goal to win an All Ireland semi final isn’t a pressure shot?

The last illegal thing Johnny Coen did was drive a golf cart through some back road in Co Fermanagh

Cant understand why they dont have a ref for each half of the field. Would stop loads of pulling and dragging that goes on. In addition, each ref would be less fatigued, resulting in possibly better decision making.

GAA referees are incredibly inconsistent by nature. I think they should make referees better compensated and more accountable. Gough and Coldrick are very good refs but it’s slim pickings after that.

Keegan is a great bit of stuff - would walk onto that Dublin team. Who else wouldn’t try to distract a free kick that would lose you the All Ireland! He kept Kilkenny to 8 possessions yesterday (he usually averages 50 plus) and scored a goal and should have got a point. A phenomenon of a player.

John Tennyson threw a hurley at Lar Corbett and nobody gave a fuck yet people are making a meal of a harmless incident like this.

It was a remarkable performance from Keegan. I couldn’t get over the lack of influence Kilkenny had. There were a couple of phantom frees given to Kilkenny by McQuillan. Watched the game back and I thought he was very harsh on Mayo at certain stages. In relation to Keegan throwing GPS device it only heightens my respect for him. Some snowflakes on here obviously have never played the game and would prefer a respectful silence like the kind observed in Thomand park. You do whatever the fuck it takes to win.

Keegan was only trying to keep up his ground covered stats so Rochford wouldn’t sub him

Anybody head to the Dublin celebration thing earlier in Smithfield? Anything new in it or just Kevin McManamon murdering Damo Dempsey or Aslan covers?

There were 15 or so of my Mayo in-laws and friends back in our house after the match. They were absolutely heartbroken. Sport shouldn’t inflict this sort of misery on people.

Sad to see another Muldoon condone blatant cheating.

Keegan is a disgrace and deserved to end up on the losing side due to his antics.
