2017 All Ireland Senior Football Championship, Dublin's continued exploitation of its natural advantages

6 month ban for Keegan in the post

You shouldn’t rely on second and third hand info, mate. Both teams got away stuff but Dublin got a couple of bigger breaks I felt - and I dislike Dublin and Mayo equally.

what breaks mate

who’s that?

you still seem to be buzzing after the GGA final yesterday. A true Gael. I bet you are loving it in work today winding up all the muldoons.

How will he fill his Sunday’s now?

I’d say he’ll be out watching the club action for the next few weeks, thats where the real GGA supporters are. The Fingal Ravens could even have a new marque full forward coming back. A former sigerson player too!

I presume Dublin will be playing Club matches tomorrow night?

The GGA hater avidly watching the fistyball match and non stop posting about it since. How twee.

Yeah but no Sunday Game to fill Sunday nights … I can see him being very testy around here for the next few months.

He posted far more during the spud hockey final and subsequent Sunday Game show… a true Gael.

needs some NFL action to tide him over so.

it must irk the gahliban on here to see lads who detest the GGA celebrating

I am lost for words when trying to describe yesterday.

I have said before that Mayo seem to have difficulty getting over the psychological barrier of winning an All Ireland. It happened last year, it happened in 2013.

But I don’t know. I think Dublin were excellent in the last 10 minutes. They kept their composure and tipped over the points. I think COC got a point from play for Mayo in that spell.

To me Mayo were the best team yesterday. I thought they won most of the duals and their inside forwards caused havoc again. But they didn’t win. The only reason I can come to is that Dublin are an excellent side and even when they weren’t playing well they still kept the scoreboard ticking over. It almost goes unnoticed. The change of kick out strategy was huge as well.

I don’t think any Dublin fans/GGA haters on here have been celebrating – they were all logged on here posting religiously all night and again first thing this morning.

There was an internet battle to win, it was far more important than celebrating some bogball success.

The Muldoon who hates Dublin and spews out hatred every time we play boasting on a forum about buying a flat in, you’ve guessed it…Dublin :joy:

“The dream has not died, just postponed. We’ll go home tomorrow with dignity and pride, and we will lick our wounds. But we will rise again. Because this year, like so many years that have gone before, has shown that Mayo may be temporarily down, but we are never, ever out.”

Stephen is a great man. Hard to believe some tried to bring him down over the years.
