2018 All Ireland Senior Football Championship

You referring to Ewan there? I thought Ewan was in Brazil?

The Newbridge war will be won in Belo Horizonte.

Brasil.

How do you spell Belo Horizonte in Brazilian?

That would be Belo Horizonte… but i’d have to double check it.

Is “Miguel” from Kildare?

Lolzers. This is Father Ted-esque.

I think he lives in Maynooth and likes to stand on the famous bank there at Sigerson Cup matches?

non value added from KS there because in 2012 im pretty sure they requested Portlaois when they already had home advantage and the gah said fine
the bottom line is that the rules of the draw state they have home advantage- as i said yesterday the gah position flip flopping about crowd safety which is as relevant to croke as it is to newbridge once they make the game all ticket and the bizarre reference to the irish derby make them look a little incredulous

the whole thing isnt doing kildare prep any good id imagine but if they want any chance at winning u’d imagine the game has to be in newbridge so i can see why they’re pushing the agenda which they have every right to do
that was odd to see cavan fold - maybe they are of the opinion that an empty croke park is a better option to play Tirone in,
the GAA tho, fucking hell can they do even more to make two potentially cracking games even more unattractive? the great thing about the qualifiers is big teams lumbering into small provincial grounds on a Saturday night- id imagine there was some craic in Letrim the other night ( sher why didnt they play that Clones or somewhere FFS), its bad enough undermining their own draw but then deciding to play these games in empty 80k stadium at 4pm on a Saturday??

Mayo fans are complete mucksavages so anything is possible

no that’s me you are thinking of
“miguel” is a stamford bridge regular and lives in london

Also they fancied their chances of beating Limerick so it made no odds to them. They are obviously looking for every advantage against Mayo which is fair enough

Sorry Miguel.

Who are the other two besides [redacted]?

The new Director General has gone to ground, not a peep out of him as this debacle unfolds.

Ger Gilroy and Joe Molloy.

You can throw Brenda Donohue in there for the housewives. Ray D’Arcy has picked a bad time to go on holiday.

FOTF Niamh Horan could play a key part here too if she wants to.

And so ends my number of months of sojourn from TFK, back earlier this year than previously. Cian O’Neill is coming across as a right condescending smug cunt in this instance.

Has anybody actually read the rule book on this? Look at the note. There is not outright entitlement to a home game.

Welcome back, you cunt.

That looks like a reference to the Super 8s and anyway, it specifically gives home advantage to one team.

The “Health and Safety” line being trotted out here is bollocks. The whole point is that Kildare are agreeable to whatever Health and Safety set the capacity of Newbridge at, which I believe is in the region of 8,000 for this game.

No it clearly says phase three of the qualifiers. I double checked.
