2018 All Ireland Senior Football Championship

You Sir are an excellent example of the failings of the British educational system. **

Was there anything particularly untoward that Jim McGuinness did after Donegal defeating Dublin in 2014 in terms of disrespectful celebrations? My brother in law has a complete hatred for McGuinness based on whatever happened there. I don’t recall much issues but looking for independent verification.

Is it not more based on 2011 than 2014?

McGuinness came across as a dick in the 2011-13 period (maybe he had to be given the past form of the squad he was working with) but I don’t recall much arseholery from him in 2014.

Be good to see McGuinness with another team just to see how would he devise a new strategy with them or would he just try to shoehorn in what worked in Donegal .

If Mayo had someone like Feely or the Flynns over last few years they may have an All Ireland

Not to mention some of the young fellas they have.

Nothing in celebrations in 2014 that I can recall but fuck me he has dined out on the victory ever since. Makes reference to it in almost 90% of his articles.

He beat us, is that not enough to hate the fucker.

An absolute dullard

A very lucky win it was too. The Dubs should have been out of sight after 10 minutes

A very convincing win it was too, game was done and dusted after about 45 minutes.

Smashing article by Jimmy’s Winning Matches in the Times yesterday.

He’s been phoning it in a bit this year but the vista of a potentially “notorious” All-Ireland final that he painted was delightful, and let’s face it, it’s one we all want to see happen.

Dublin’s sheer professional attitude of coaching coaching coaching could be an Achilles heel strangely. Take them out of their rehearsed plays and disrupt their key players in that system and they can look ordinary. I think individuality could have been coached out of them despite them having superb individuals and thus their ability to deal with a changing picture of what the match entails.

I pretty much robbed that from McGuinness.

Also I think Klopp’s Liverpool are excellent at adapting their play on the pitch for the circumstances in front of them. First leg against Roma was shadow boxing initially until Liverpool overpowered then through pace and energy, and kept the foot on the throttle.

This Dublin team are special and the can play it anyway you like

Clear speculation.

There is a clear way to beat Dublin which I will
post after the final.

Did they still have their foot kept on the throttle when Roma scored twice?

Score more than them?
