2021 All Ireland Football-Covid is a cod tyrone style

I didn’t say they have been a victim of a conspiracy.

I do think there is an extreme bias in RTE and the free state sporting media against Tyrone that has built up a false narrative about Tyrone in recent years relative to their rivals and that has influenced a lot of views and decisions. I think it certainly weighs on referees going into games when they’re seeing new paper reports and pundits citing Tyrone’s dark arts and cynicism.

Imagine if a Johnny Cooper, Cillian O’Connor or Peter Crowley had played for Tyrone the column inches that would be devoted to their antics off the ball.

Boo hoo. The same stunts were pulled on Canavan by Kerry and worse but PTG could handle himself while Gooch cried like a little bitch about it.

What stunts?

Tom O’Sullivan roughing him up in the 2005 final.

Yeah, I think that’s complete nonsense really. I don’t think you’ve pointed to anything that wasn’t fair comment. Dublin have gotten away with it, but that’s an entirely different conversation really.

No comparison

Lookit I was glad to see Tyrone win on Saturday.
Fuck Mayo and all that - if you are good enough you’ll get one and if you aren’t then tough.

Having said that Tyrone and the other successful NI teams have always sought to create a siege mentality - the Millwall of the GAA - nobody likes us and we don’t care. If it works for them and it has done then good for them.

So why has no Mayo, Kerry or Dublin player being asked to make a public apology over something they did on the field?

You’re the one talking nonsense and all you is justify double standards where Tyrone are held to far higher standards than any other county.

Have any Kerry or Dublin or Mayo player had their names dragged through the mud on a false allegation like the two Tyrone minor boys were?

I’m not really sure what you’re on about. Who was asked to make a public apology, by who, and for what?

I know.

There’s actual proof of it. Unlike the rumours that were made regarding Cooper by bitter bastards.

genuine LOL

you’re here frothing at the mouth and adding more chips to the shoulder a couple of days after winning an all ireland

Ciaran Whelan said Tiarnan McCann should come out and make a public apology for his dive against Monaghan.

He’s not the only player to ever dive at Croke Park, plenty of Kerry, Mayo and Dublin lads have and have done so trying to get a player sent off. None of them were ever asked to make a public apology.

Double standards though.

McCann is a complete gimp though so it seems a fair enough comment to me.

I’m the one just pointing out the double standards and bias of the free state media. It’s conclusive, I believe in fairness, if we do things that are wrong then it’s fair game for criticism but the same vigour and scrutiny is strangely not evident when other counties do wrong things? Why is that?

I’m not sure. Harte was told in no uncertain terms, he sneered and denied etc. Kerry left it at that. But that’s all in the past, you’ve a team to be proud of and it’s hard to see past them in ulster

Yet you whine about AOS getting grief.

Tee has an AI medal in his pocket and is dog for war - not for promotional videos.

Cavanagh is as biased a pundit as I have ever seen on RTE but yeah, double standards, Free State Media blah blah blah…

Cavanagh is an actual disgrace the carry on of him

There’s no evidence, plenty of footage caught on TV in the 2005 final of what Kerry tried to do with Canavan.

Canavan was able to handle himself though and his teammates weren’t going to stand back and let the Kerry lads try and rough him up.

The Kerry lads just bitched after because they could not take their beating.

Cavanagh just calls it out. He’s been highly critical of Tyrone in his punditry to be honest.

You get a balanced pundit on RTE like Cavanagh and you call him biased, it’s clear anything objective in your view is being perceived as bias. Odd. You’re brainwashed.

I didn’t hear the kerry lads doing any bitching, quite the opposite but harte etc can’t expect people to unknow what went on
