David Gillick is superb interviewing the athletes. Has a great rapport with them. Having been a top athlete himself, he knows how they feel and asks all the right questions.

He’s a top lad. Came back to Ballinteer to play GAA for a few years after his athletics career finished. Was lightning in open field

It’s like a different camp since Israel and Rhasidat got to the finals. So many of them running above themselves. Lots of underperformances early in the week and the opposite at the end.
