What

You are absolutely deluded if you think Clare will bring 12k. I would imagine 20k max will be at the games.

Clare 7k
Tipperary 6k
Galway 4K
Dublin 500

Neutral 2k

There’s a riveting 15 page thread over on Hogan Stand titled “Attendances 2023” which would be right up a few lads’ street

There was 34k in Thurles last year for the Lunchtime throw in’s.

44k in Croke Park in 2019 when Laois were involved :grinning: .

AI Quarter Finals in Thurles as a Double Header always, always broke 30k.

If this can barely scrape 20k then they may as well disband the whole thing.

The GG arent fit for purpose.

Was it only terrace tickets went on General Sale on Ticketmaster? Can’t get either stand. Absolutely 0 interest in doing terrace for the day

Last year had Cork and Wexford two of the largest support bases, Tipp & Galway have two of the worst and Dublin have nothing.

That’s about the truth of it really

I got 6 stand. 3 pairs :zipper_mouth_face:

Fair enough. Will just have to go through the club to get stand so!

Erra we brought 30k of that.

Tipp v Galway brought nearly 70k to Croke Park in 2017. They were bringing between 50k-60k the two years previous. I know its a Semi Final but point still stands.

Tipp, KK (who are brutal to attend), Cork and Laois brought 44k to Croke Park in 2019.

Anything less than 30k and this will be embarrassing.

It will certainly show how far tipp have fallen alright.

Typing through his tears

It always rains in Limerick sure, €40 to get drenched in a shithole.

Maybe, just maybe Sunday afternoon slots in Mid/Late July - Early August might just work better than Saturday evenings in June for big knockout Hurling action.

2pm - 4pm are the optimum slots for GAA double headers.
If we have extra time in Tipp Galway it’ll be nightmare to make the last train out of Limerick at 8.55pm

They usually hold the trains in situations like that.
