2023 All Ireland Hurling Championship

Hopefully Landers organised his accommodation in good time.

SOD is a shoo in for an All Star and pushing himself into contention for a long overdue HOTY

Typical quarter final fare in limerick yesterday. Some awfully scrappy hurling in both games. Injuries really starting to bite for Clare now - we hadn’t a huge amount of depth at the back to begin with but to try and take on Kilkenny in Croker possibly minus Cleary, Conlon and David Mc will make it tough. Hopefully all three make it but how fit will they be?

Conlon should be fine, the Achilles has done for McInerney. The other counties are in the same predicament.

The Limericks not happy to see other counties take their excuses

Aidan McCarthy?

4 massive hits.

To their team like.

And SOD with a knock too but assume his was precautionary.

We have a decent bit of depth in the forwards which negates McCarthy’s lose but are very thin from 2 to 9. Like Darragh Lohan couldn’t make the 26 during the round robin and ended up starting yesterday

Conlon spent the night in hospital, back spasms, same thing that ruled him out of last years semi. Should be fine for Sunday week.

Will the hall be big enough?

Are they not better without McCarthy. Rodger’s did well on the frees. McCarthy not great in open play.

He was excellent first day out v Tipp and played well in the win over limerick too but damaged his calf in the second half. Has been struggling with it since and his form has nose dived. On form he is worth his place but doubt will start v Kilkenny if fit

He needs to find a helmet that actually fits his head first and go from there.

Mainly from the scheduling of the season.

It’s pretty shite direction we are going in imo.

David Mcinerney out for the season?
Clare are in trouble
Cleary can’t be right either

Are Galway the only side without any injuries?

In fairness I’d say the 2018 season was the toughest ever season put down any team in hurling. Four round robin games and two replays on top their all series games plus bumping into a truly great Limerick side.

I doubt many of that Galway squad every truly recovered.

Lohan and Clare are always a bit pathetic trying to hide the injuries to be fair. Shows a serious lack of trust in the bench and in truth highlights their weakness

He almost choked before the Munster final throw in when he had to admit Cleary was not starting

Did he provide update on Mcinerney or McCarthy’s injury yesterday?

They played 8 matches in over 3 months?
