No it shouldn’t.
In Dublin hurling there are games this weekend. However the system works in 5 team groups. There was great booking of tickets earlier in year when some teams found they had a bye this weekend.
A very high quality game in the Bons Secours Limerick Group A championship tonight between Patrickswell and Ahane, the Well prevailed by 2-17 to 2-12, the multiple AI winners on both sides were outstanding both Morrisseys for Ahane Tom finishing with 1-10 and Cian who was MOTM by a mile with 0-3 his pass for Gillanes goal was something else who himself ended with 1-2 from play and current HOTY Byrnesie lording at the back, overall a very high quality game befitting of the current standard of LK hurling.
A split weekend in the split season.
Laois has written of EP weekend for years now, great to see others follow suit.
Be interesting to see what happens when it moves back 2 weeks.
Coldplay is on this weekend next year. Where do you draw the line?
Youngsters don’t give a fuck about coldplay in Dublin, 3 days drinking cans and riding and getting off their Tits on good scrag in a field in Laois is another level though.
In rugby? V few…youv to be gone from the pro game for a few seasons before they will consider allowing you to play at junior level…it’s great for the club no doubt and be great for a junior player to play against him but he could do serious damage if he wanted to …most fellas would be able to manage away at half pace and keep others safe though tbf
Fair play to the Tipperary county board who haven’t succumbed to the pressure of young lads looking to change fixtures so they can take Ket in a barn/field in Leix.
The queens county played their senior hurling relegation final on a Wednesday evening

Good enough for the cunts for being in it - they were well warned

Not too much movement this month really. Ballyea the only big dogs really falling and they are only hanging in there by the skin of their teeth. A couple of other minor adjustments made as new information became available.
MLR’s inclusion is a big boost for Carlow Hurling and should give them great confidence as they hibernate for the next eight weeks.
Fishing for the Wexford lads there
A real bear in the square
I don’t believe the Wexford lads have much of a case after those St. Martin’s lads let me down.
They’re flying it in the senior football. 3 points on the board from a possible 4. A surprisingly fast start given they probably only started kicking in the last 2 weeks.
I don’t think Gorey can have too many complaints when you see a team of the calibre of Ballyea rank as lowly as 19th place.
To be clear, Ballyea find themselves in that position because I expect them to be gone after this weekend or whenever Kilmaley play Scariff.
Ballyea need a Scariff win there? A very well formulated ranking system by yourself. Interesting to see Naas up to the heady heights of 8th. They were very impressive in the Leinster Intermediate final against Oylgate a couple of years ago. The fact they’re on the Laois/Westmeath/Dublin side of the Leinster draw carries great weight no doubt.
Yes Ballyea very much relying on other results.
These 5 team groups with 2 going through can be messy and looks like Ballyea have found themselves in a bit of a pickle.
Loughmore are down their full back (Joey Hennessy) and 6 (john Meagher) this year and are conceding huge amounts. It’s a different code but their football form is also a worry.
I’d have BDE led Kiladangan as the Tipperary representative in your prestigious power rankings.
They have a home tie in the Munster semi final v the Clare champions.
