I’d imagine prep for a few third level teams for the season would be stepping up in the next few weeks and would be one option? Dishing out hammerings to fellow clay court season specialists from Wexford and Carlow would hardly be ideal prep.
I’d say there is a mixture of poor journalism there and poor comprehension from the reader. I don’t think that quoted bit says Mullinavat are from Wicklow, just that Ballylinan play the Wicklow champions next.
