2023 Club Championships

There’s a Norwegian football forum which refers to Rosenborg’s dominance in the Norwegian League in the 1990s/2000s as “a Rangers type situation”, in reference to Crossmaglen Rangers’ dominance in the Armagh Championship over the same period.

I think it referred to the success meaning they became more wealthy and more successful and more wealthy than any other club and it looked unstoppable. Like Glasgow only there were no tax swindlers and fraudulent businessmen, or partisan hatred to bail out the opposition.

Kiladangan will beat Clonlara if they meet.

Would have Thomas’s ahead of NAP who were poor v Doon and will have it all to do to beat the Well.

Will Kiladangan beat Thurles though?

Gun to my head I’d have Sars but they have a poor record in replays for some unknown reason.

I wouldn’t be as confident as that.

Clonlara would have the 3x best players on the pitch as a starting point v Kildangan which is a great place to be, including a leader like Conlon who could just bully his way to victory.

Would Kildangan play it in Nenagh or Thurles?

I’d give Thurles an edge over Clonlara just by virtue of being Thurles playing in Thurles and having Ronan Maher in excellent form.

I thought Na Piarsaigh were awful v Doon too but it looked too bad to be true. I expect them to come on a tonne for the run and be better on Saturday. A big, bully like WOD would be some addition if hes back.

I can’t forgive Thomas’s no show v Dunloy just yet.

What pitch is that?

Renard would be my guess

Do we go straight to number one if we beat The Shamrocks on Sunday?

after he was surplus to requirements for the kerry senior team outfield, there was a sizeable enough contingent that reckon kerry should have put him in goals at the time.

No.

There are some passengers on that Clonlara team that neither of the Tipperary teams have.

Kiladangan would play in the stadium and win.

No spot for Big Aido’s Breaffy?

Bigger crowd at the Cork Senior A final yesterday than the Clare and Tipp senior hurling finals. Proper hurling country.

Don’t think it will surprise anyone here you’re getting wet over footage of Kerry club games .
