2023 Summer Transfer Window

Klopp has proven that financial constraints does not stop a team from being able to compete in Europe on a consistent basis. Even a shite manager like Stephen Gerrard was able to do it once.

He won a World Cup by himself.

This is a mental discussion.

7 European finals? Heā€™s some man to navigate his way through the challenging rigours of European campaigns all the same. Wouldnā€™t we all love the journey on the way to a European final. Iā€™d say itā€™s only 5 (five) though.

ā€¢2013 Champions League final with Dortmund. They havenā€™t been near one since.

ā€¢2016 Europa League final with a dishevelled Liverpool squad.

ā€¢2018 Champions League Final

ā€¢2019 Champions League final. The night he won the big one in Madrid.

Football teams greatness can be measured by trophies won but there are more intangibles when it comes to individual players. Spending 750 million pound to win 1 league title does not make a team great Iā€™m afraid.

Beating up the fairer sex would have added to the esteem that he is held at Old Trafford too.

He hasnā€™t spent 750m

Youā€™re telling lies on the internet

What about all the players he had to sell? Do profits from outgoings not count at all?

The old pigeon shitting on the chessboardā€¦

Itā€™s sad to see him reduced to it.

The 3D chessboard

If he had the Glazers or the oil money heā€™d have 6 leagues and 3 CLs

Heā€™ll come again. He has a better squad now than the scattered one he inherited in 2015. You can smell the fear off lads here. Deep down they know that a couple of energetic midfielders and Klopp is ready to rock and roll again.

United spent 160m on Harry Maguire and the Argentine half pint. Klopp has to make do with free transfers and lads like Nat Williams and Joe Gomez who cost thruppence haā€™penny. They lambast him for getting to multiple european finals and not being able to trump petro dollar clubs.

Itā€™s fascinating to watch.

Clamouring for him to go :joy::joy:

He deserves a statue for winning a league title at the expense of a ā€œclubā€ who had 115 (one hundred and fifteen) breaches of financial fair play rules.

Liverpoolā€™s European Cup in 2018-19 was probably the hardest ever won.

We had to beat:
Moneybags PSG
European champions Red Star Belgrade
This yearā€™s European champions Napoli
2020 European champions Bayern Munich
Twice European champions Porto
The Barcelona of Messi and Suarez
2019 European Cup finalists Tottenham.

Doesnā€™t get much harder than that.
