2024 All Ireland Hurling Championship

It isn’t actually

There’s enough negativity in Ireland at this point in time

It fucking is…

We missed Peter Casey more than we had thought. He would have nailed a few today

You’d also wonder what effect the Hayes thing had on the entire camp.

Its a beautiful setup for a final in fairness. You couldn’t call it. The Clare attitude to it will have changed utterly in the space of 48 hours. They will have full expectation they can win. That is some leap mentally from 4 weeks ago.

For sure. But ye ran into Collins on the game of his life. If the hegarty blast was a few inches either direction there’d be no stopping ye. Nash was missed something massive too I think. A lot of Cork lads were found unmarked up the field.

Finn wasn’t right today, surprised the limerick’s aren’t highlighting that

Not really. When the better team on the day wins you can’t be a whingey bitch.

You do know who I was addressing?

Nash was a huge miss. Cork were able to give up puckouts and know he wasn’t going maurading up the field with it

Take it to pms so.

It’s like a funeral. Congrats to Cork. They were the better team. But Jesus. We’ll never again be following a team going for 5-in-a-row.

It was pretty clear chief

Or Telegram?

Two questions/observations
What the fuck went on with Horgan being taken off just as they were awarded a scorable free that Coleman missed?? Surely leave him on to take it.
Also what is the thinking behind the cork tactic of Collins playing one two with the full back and then driving it long from the same position he started more or less? He nearly got blocked down three or four times doing it.

Ah sure another day we nail all the points too. The bounce of the ball went our way when it mattered for 4 years. Some days it just breaks the other way. There was an unreal amount of times today Limerick got a stick or hand in and dispossessed Cork only for a Cork man to come away with it again.

Hunger is the wrong word for it. But it’s probably the easiest way to describe it. They fought like dogs

He was very lucky - Clare will be all over that in the final

It’s the hurling equivalent of big Lynchy coming out the field for Derry

First one was a case of them thinking that the time wasted with the sub was better taking a minute off the clock rather than Horgan hitting a pot shot from out the field.

Second one was that they wanted the ball dropping on the big d, so the one two buys another 10 to 15 yards in distance, but like you say only had to go wrong once to undo everything.

Cork wasted about three minutes of added time with a sideline and that free. The kind of cuteness required to close out a game
