A dirty weekend away

My Kevesque psychoanalysis of @Thrawneen from some months back has proven to be accurate.

I don’t recall this. Can you dig it up?

praying versus preying it seems …

Could be that Thrawneen is the conductor, but I have my suspicions and suspect she’s playing Thrawneen like a violin here.

Reminds me of the old wedding night joke as the bride knelt down at the side of the bed…

Groom: What are you praying for love?
Bride: Direction.
Groom: Fuck that, pray for stiffness, I’ll manage the direction.

Hey lads, late notice but i’m looking for a Hotel/B&B on late notice on dublin. Going to go up to the foitball and weekend and bring the missus.

Most places booked or 280+ a night.

Any advice or little gems ye know about.

Been mentioned here before but the Roxford Lodge is worth a try

Herbert Park is a lovely hotel as well and usually reasonable enough

Try the burlo or the double tree by Hilton as its now called. Lovely hotel on the inside and its fucking huge so rooms are usually not that expensive.

Also Waterloo lodge

Best of luck, a quick look at Booking.com and Alpharooms says that Dublin is outrageous this weekend.

157 per night in the beacon hotel in sandyford

Aisling Hotel on Parkgate St. Stumpy won’t have far to hobble from Heuston.

Do you reckon the @Selfish_Dublinbay_Giant_Prawn will chance his luck this time, kev?

Luas the whole way in too…

Fuck sake man that is an awful suggestion. Sandyford Industrial Estate for a dirty weekend away. That barren wasteland with dilapidated apartment shells will really get her juices flowing alright. I’m really disappointed in you, art.

Check this, @caoimhaoin. 165 per night.

Splash out @caoimhaoin, you can’t be bringing the old doll to a shithole to save a hundred euro. When you’ve kids you’ll regret taking the cheap option back when you had freedom.

He also doesn’t have to waste money just for the sake of it, mate. We pay over the top for most services in this country.

I dunno, I’d be loathe to pay €250 for an average hotel room in Dublin or €350 for a good one.

It’s true for Ya, I’d be familiar with a few of the recommendations and they’d be fairly poor, obviously I don’t know Kevs circumstances or what he intends to do on Saturday night, if he’s arriving to the hotel at 4 in the morning and is dying sick on Sunday then any bed would suffice, but I’d he wants to take it easy and enjoy Sunday morning in nice surroundings then 100 euro might be well spent.
