Donāt mind the rubbish being spouted here, Thrawneen. Marlfield is a grand place for a wedding
I hope so, Fran, because theyāve gone and booked it.
and what would you know about it, you piss in the powder cunt.

A grand few days in Kilkenny. Superb bargain from the Ormonde. ā¬278 for the two of us for three nights B&B with one 3 course dinner and one lunch and tickets for the Castle tour. Canāt argue with that. I did a half a km of swimming every morning, which actually seems to have aggravated my back more than anything but Iāll worry about that tomorrow.
Brewery Corner is the new pub open which serves the full range of OāHaras on tap along with about 5 or 6 other craft brews. We were in there every evening supping and playing Scrabble. The barman is sound and they seem to be getting a decent trickle of custom throughout the day (bear in mind this was Sun-Tues) between tourists and local reprobates. Excellent music on the soundsystem also.
Twas 20 degrees and sunny all yesterday so we spent the afternoon in the beer garden of the River Side/Court(?) Hotel, watching bellied-youths jump off the bridge into the Nore. The tourists loved this, particularly a group of yanks, who numbered amongst their party a slutty looking blonde with obviously enhanced breasts.
She was a sight I most enjoyed.
Food-wise, we hoped to go to Cafe Sol but got there on Sunday to see a sign in the window saying it was closed this week for renovations. The absolute bastards. Campagne is a bit dear and herself had eaten in Zuni and Rinnucinnis before and wanted to go somewhere new, so we ate in the Marble City Bar and La Rivista. MCB is excellent, we were expecting good pub grub but itās far better than that. Really lovely food, good service and cheap enough. La Rivista is your standard Italian, we went in as we were starving and Chez Pierre only seems to open at weekends, which was the other option on our eating list.
Also drank in the Left Bank, which was nice, and briefly went in to An Puc Fada to hear a truly remarkable solo version of Bohemian Rhapsody on Sunday night, sung by a podgy, acoustic guitar-wielding long-hair.
Iām off to Carcassonne in France in late June for 4 nights. I would welcome recommendations from any of the TFK community who may have visited this region
That sounds like a fantastic vacation Thrawneen
Iāll flesh this one out for you later phil but thereās some savage stuff in that area. Collioure, about 30 mins the other side of perpignan is probably the most beautiful place iāve ever been if youāre willing to travel.
Nice one Juh. We plan on renting a car for at least 2 days
What the fuck is this shit about???
Iām hurting, mate.
Have you ever seen the Simpsons episode when Millhouse finds a girlfriend? Well iām Bart.

Iām just glad to have you back buddy. Proof, once again, that the bullies on here like Fran and Mac canāt scare everybody off the site.
Iāll bully you real good
Definitely travel a bit, plenty to see, lovely countryside around there. The canals are pretty decent too if you wanted to consider doing it that way.

Not all of us are reprobates but glad you got a bit of value- canāt always be said about here. Brewery Corner is great, has been bringing all sorts down to discover the delights of the ātheatre districtā- even funny to hear high heels on the pavement - no bouncers and dress codes down here.
Howās Brewery Corner doing at the weekends? Me and herself feel a special kinship with the place now. Pure joy to be able to get two draught pints of OāHaraās for less than a tenner.
