An exemplary punishment beating via social media is the term I think.
The dog will get the shit kicked out of him Iâd fear. @Joe_Player will have to chair the peace talks.
Vote no then u t they sort it out man. Canât allow this unrestricted crap
The only option open to any of us is to repeal the 8th, we can propose imaginary legislation all we want but itâs pie in the Sky
I sincerely hope nobody you care for is ever put at risk because of this anachronism, I feel confident it wonât be an issue in a few months time though
The only option for people who want abortions for healthy babies with healthy mothers is Yes,
For those who are pro-life it is No.
Itâs as simple as that.
Itâs not a simple issue at all, the only choice we have is yes or no, Iâd favour the lives of mothers,
No youâd rather that women can abort a baby because they donât want the inconvenience of facing up to the consequences of their actions - no to save a womanâs life.
Do you think 1 womanâs life is worth that of 100,000 babies?
Normal healthy innocent babies with healthy mothers are being put at risk. As a member of the human race this is disturbing to me.
I sincerely hope any future family members or even your lovely wife of yours donât go about aborting fine healthy babies for no reason at all.
Thanks mate, unless the circumstances demand it I will suggest otherwise.
My own baby making days are behind me but itâd make me sad to think that anybody would put my future (unborn) grandchildren ahead of my daughters if eithers life was at risk
If you had ever experienced love, you would know the answer is yes. The life of a woman is worth an infinite number of the unborn.
Youâre a very very lucky man.
Of course itâs going to be unborn if the baby is killed. Particularly disgusting to justify when itâs a healthy baby that carries no threat to itâs motherâs life - but thatâs what you want - babies killed because the people donât want to face up to the consequences of the actions they have taken.
Maybe we should just let drink drivers walk off with an apology and not hold them liable to their actions when they have fatal consequences.
It would be sad if your daughter put herself ahead of a child when the child carries no health concerns to her.
It would indeed but itâs in the haâpenny place compared to what I outlined, if she wanted my advice on the matter Iâd support carrying a healthy baby, but I hope I wouldnât force any issue with them.
Is it?
Itâs still a loss of life and far, far, far more common that the situation you outlined.
I would have no issue supporting a change in legislation whereby the motherâs life is in serious threat under a pregnancy but thatâs now what this referendum is about.
It is one of the things that itâs about, the most important thing for me.
I canât believe youâre equating the life of my(or anyoneâs) daughter with that of an unborn child,
No.
Itâs allowing unborn babies to be killed because the parents donât wan to face up to the consequences of their irresponsible behaviour.
Children deserve the right to grow up and live and repealing the 8th removes that right.
Professional gobshite Woolie very very painful on Twitter
Why is it that we need to paint all these issues as dichotomous dilemmas when they are far more complex and nuanced. The Yes side using the âits the mother or childâ or indeed âmen v womenâs choiceâ. You previously had the âhomo v hetroâ during the gay marriage referendum. If itâs not this itâs âMuslim v Christianâ. All this does is to fracture communities and isolate people further. Is it any wonder we have a growing mental health crisis. Of course the eventual solution for this will be proposals for Euthanasia and the right to die. It suggests to me of a society losing the capacity to love. This then is the beginning of the end because love conquers all and without it humanity is nothingness.
These are genuine problems & dilemmas but the solutions being offered are cheap, lazy & inhumane.
How about we keep the 8th but legalize the option to travel abroad for abortion and subsidize flights? Let women travel to all those countries where love no longer exists and we will remain the only country in Europe where love flourishes.
