Abortion Referendum Thread

The country is been overrun by crusty, liberal, pinko layabout types who just seem to be setting the agenda.

A rare glimmer of good news to report down your part of the world - Father Fintan Monahan to be ordained as the new Bishop of Killaloe this afternoon at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in Ennis.

Iā€™m nodding in agreement with you here.

Be hard to gauge that as the common perception is that a lot of rapes still go unreported.

Not all rape victims are as brave as @Tassotti, pal. A lot of rapes, particularly where the culprit is known, can go unreported but itā€™s a fair point.

It is a social issue in large part. Middle class kids can afford to go to England and have an abortion.

We have abortion in Ireland if you can afford it.

I donā€™t think he reported it to the authorityā€™s did he,most victims dont

When this goes to the ballots, it will be ugly.
Waaay waaaaaaayyy uglier than the marriage referendum.

Yep, Colm Oā€™Gorman, panti and zappone on one side vs Breda Oā€™Brien, John waters and David quinn. Ironically none of them should be allowed breed

allowed?

I canā€™t see it happening next year. 20 18 maybe. Enda will want to push it out until heā€™s gone

Yes allowed.

You make a wonderful case for retrospective abortion

Thatā€™s worthy of a COTY nomination.

Iā€™d be amazed if she did considering sheā€™s dead 23 years next week. Strangely and ironically enough, having seen a picture of you its clear that your mother spent all 9 months given your malformed foetal alcohol syndrome head
