Clare Daly is a great woman and an outstanding paliamentarian, as she proved yet again there.
I feel so much better about this country since Saturday.
Itâs a very powerful speech. Abortion it would appear is for women with violent partners, fatal anomalies and to avert facing the difficulty of raising disabled children when thereâs not much support available.

What she said about disabled children was utterly amoral and should disgust anyone with a shred of decency. There was plenty wrong with the 8th and plenty wrong with what is proposed in the repeal . If youâre a brainless fuckwit I suppose youâll adopt one definite position and insult your own reflection.
How could anyone with half a brain listen to that woman lauding and lionising the heroism of women who would abort disabled children rather than raise them? I suppose disability just doesnât grab the public mood at the moment?

Some people are clearly unsettled with what theyâve voted for so are reverting to talking about people as if theyâre dinosaurs as thatâs what the flag right on agenda has told them. All to deflect from the headbanger hardliners who are celebrating that you can now abort disabled babies.
