Oh, I meant the Strand, as in the road itself. I’d usually go to Cusacks. If we feel like the walk, down Amiens St to the Brew Dock.
God I feel like a pint now.
I’d highly recommend Liffey Valley @caoimhaoin
Seriously though… Lucan will break your spirit. A bland existence.
The dogs are going to cause you major problems.
It’s only a problem if you let it be one. Believe me if you can get on with it in Australia where they are seriously up their own ass about rentals you can deal with it anywhere.
Kev,
Artane would be perfect for y0u.
Irish Strength Institute
Parnells GAA Club
Good Bus Corridor to CBD.
Affable young professionals.

I lived beside the Beaumont House for a while. It was a fine area. Not as nice as Drumcondra, but never had any bother.
Kev, are you absolutely sure about that? I do know of someone who brought a dog from Oz back to Ireland and it cost in and around €3k. and I’m nearly sure it had to be in quarantine in Swords for 6 months too, so I dont know if that included the kennel boarding fees there as well.
Grand if you are going to DCU, Mac but I don’t see any other godly reason why you would want to live there. Traffic is horrendous too. Fairview is an absolute shithole, bro.
that’s all well and good til you and the missus are bound with cable ties above in bohernabreena and the pikeys are rifling through your belongings and no chance of anyone hearing the commotion …
Seabank House? There was an armed raid there after the AI final. It’s not the worst spot, though I’d go up to the Strand if I was going for a pint.
Actually, best thing about living in my place. €7.50 lunch special in Da Mimmo for bruschetta and any pizza. Insane stuff. You could go on the scratcher and eat like a king.
The Annesley house is a good spot before a dubs match… gaffneys in Fairview is a good boozer too…
I like fairview, real old dublin…traffic is shite though …Whitehall is the most boring grey kip you are ever likely to enter…
Traffic is murder from Griffith Avenue, but it’s a nice place to live.
A go getter like myself is generally in work before the great unwashed have even thought about arising.
Some of the finest built houses in Dublin of that era.
I’m coming for you @Fagan ODowd .
My point was more that Ringsend is about 5 mins walk from some of the most expensive houses in Dublin.
It is a shithole, the old Dub’s might be salt of the earth, but their offspring are scum of the earth
Rob Heffernan wouldn’t be able to walk to the embassy belt in 5 minutes.
And the opposite to your second point is true. The gentrification of Ringsend has flushed out most of working class Dubs up there, Ringsend is a very quiet place now compared to what it used to be like.
So to sum up, your entire post was complete bollocks.
@caoimhaoin - just shoot the dogs and you’ll have the pick of places to rent in Dublin. In all seriousness what kind of an insecure cunt would have a ridgeback.
No he doesn’t.
Yeah that is actually true in fairness, Mac. Built in the pre-Liam “I’m some miserable cunt” Carroll days.

Will you tell that to the family of the old man murdered in Cambridge Mews last week.
The council houses?
A couple of Muldoons did that.
