Also donât slag her fringe
TFK answer - good man Thraw, nice handy one for you to go home, do fuck all and have it all paid for. live the dream.
Queer answer - do you honestly see yourself settled with this woman in 20 years time, in the same house, after bringing up 2 kids? and a twist on the can you imagine your life with her, can you imagine your life without her?
Proper answer: donât do it just as Itâs handy youâll fuckin regret it. You have to do what makes you happy. If slobbing about the house being held accountable by this lady does then so be it. youâll be getting an allowance for the rest of your days.
Man up, shake yourself and cop the fuck on.
Well said Count.

Are you saying this baby will have a forked tongue?
You mean youre Jaime Lannister and sheâs Cersei Baratheon?
This work or all work in general?
I like to do a good dayâs work and have some kind of job satisfaction at the end of it. Itâs been many, many years since Iâve experienced that in a paid capacity though.
I have no idea about inflation but sheâs a shoe in for this promotion, and considering the person she would be replacing is taking a pay cut to be the CEO on 134k or something, that position is obviously very lucrative.

137k, I think.
Lovely. Iâll be rich and as fat and as drunk as a lord.
Thraw I do believe I advised you sagely on this woman before
Fagan is correct here - donât do it. Youâll get the mickey eye for some other wan soon enough, of that Iâve no doubt, and this one could fuck you out without a seconds thought. Once Thraw3 is in school, she could quite happily be willing to give the single mother thing a shot and youâll be on the dole, homeless with no job and 2 kids to maintain. Sure she could probably retire early and just support the 2 of them . You wonât regret the child, but youâll be 7 years older and no better if not worse off
Thrawneen, your escapades alone are worth joining this forum!
balbec is right though, you need some security in this thing, are you willing to get married first? If you get married and give up the job to mind the kid then whatever happens down the road youâll be financially well looked after. You might get a few quid without getting married if you last 3 years cohabiting.
But could you seriously retire at 31? Would you get back into teaching later on? With a lot of time on your hands the mind would be very likely to wander to the title of this thread.
Finally, considering you nearly jacked it in altogether a short while back over a hormonal argument, how will you manage pregnancy hormones?

I know a meal-ticket when I have one. There wonât be a peep out of me and her every strop will be tolerated fully.
She wants to get married, so itâd just be a matter of me pushing it through. She basically put a contract on the table for me the other night. I donât know am I ready to go for it, but itâs very very tempting. I donât much like work, have a rubbish degree in practical terms (though I would like the idea of becoming a teacher at 50 or something like that), so it seems ideal. When the sprog is born I could take a 5-year career break so if it doesnât work out, I can still go back to my job.
If myself and Mac gamble our way to be millionaires from the Bridge bar in Gorey then all the better. Iâll have a wife, a kid and a goomah, or whatever it is the mafia lads call them.
thats a couple of times now you mentioned Mac in your posts when describing your future life. I think I speak for the whole forum when I say that any future that involves mac being your bessier is a heinous horrible one

Easily said bro but were you not enjoying the set up you had up til now also?
Iâm glad the marriage is on the table, sort that out first anyway. A man in your position needs some sort of security and I would hate to see you cast aside. Would the narrowing of your social circle be a problem for you?
Thrawneen
A great days entertainment so far, you have lads dancing a merry tune here. ( Bar that shrewd cunt TASE )

This is no joke. This is actually happening. I could stop working. My get out of jail free card.

I enjoy our relationship now but I donât enjoy my life much. I want to be down nearer my young lad (and Mac) and Iâve thought about jacking it all in and going down there to work in Tesco or something until heâs grown up. So the proposition on the table seems too good to be true.
Thraw have you completely given up on finding a woman you actually love or what.
