I have found out from a very reliable source of an affair being had by someone who tried to fuck me over recently, and went around talking a bit of shit to mutual friends as well.

I do not get affairs on a long term basis. I am gearing about alot of them now. So many people get together for the wrong reason. Apparently 1 in 3 marraige is seperated now and they believe 50% have some form of infedelity. A once off is one thing. But why not just finish it. How can fellas (or girls, but its mostly fellas) live complete lies like that.

Probably because they’re not living complete lies. Like most things in life, it’s complex as fuck but as soon as people have kids their relationship changes. As soon as someone gets sick, their relationship changes. As soon as they get older and don’t keep working at being a decent couple shit changes. They probably still love each other loads and wouldn’t dream of splitting up or leaving bit there’s no excitement in the riding or there’s no riding at all. In those circumstances you can see why one or other of them fancy a bit of excitement and some gamey sex.

That’s understandable as well. Men (in general) just want to ride as much as they can, and see no reason to end it (an affair) unless they get caught. Women are genuinely looking for emotional support (that they are likely not getting at home) and if they find it are very likely to bolt.

Its hard to know though what works. This might as she has been self emploted for 7 or 8 years and is mature compared to most 28 year olds. And self emploted people get each other. Early days but a bit of texting and 1-2 meets a week (not just for riding btw) and we both seem content.

She says she has no concern about the age when we are together but does consider it when we’re not. Not sure what that means. Presume its her looking into the future.
