sligo will come out of it
the war criminal assembled a very young team there that are taking a while to get going but were very good against Cork the other night
Bray are perennial strugglers but that ould horrid cunt Mick Cooke will dig them out
I think Longford are fucked selling eden ben mohommed to bohs was a bad move for them , they cant score goals, their keeper and defense are awful too.
as an aside i know RTE have their horror show moments with Darren “exagerate every third word” Frehill but Soccer Republic is an excellent show, the analysis with Brian Kerr, Ritchie Sadlier and Alan Cawley who is really very good on Monday night is really engaging,
its defintly worth a watch

@Bandage Wexford are 1 up away at high flying Cork City.

St Pats v Sligo is live on RTE 2 at the moment. Goalless so far, but some tremendous abuse being heaped on the players by the punters on the Camac side. You can hear the individual taunts thanks to the superb sound work by RTE amongst the sparse crowd.

Mark O’Sullivan scores an 83rd minute equaliser for Cork. Derry beating the Shams 3-0z

Athlone came back from 3-0 down to draw with Waterford. Waterford had a red card just before half-time.

Think they’ve got Bohs away next week, Fenlon could be out on his ear if they lose that.

Roddy will be seething , some banter there tonight id say

Kenny Shiels is doing a smashing job at City. Unlike Fenlon and Kenny who failed miserably, he’s actually proved himself in Scotland by winning a major trophy there as a manager.

Super result tonight and an unexpected league title challenge is very much on the cards.

Long trip home from british occupied Ireland:sob:

The goal difference :hushed:

FAI cup draw took place today. Shels got a handy draw, away to all-conquering Dundalk for the second year running!! :rage:
