Cork have shown plenty toughness, many times. We just don’t jump up and down about it, especially after being out fought and out foxed.
 Because Cork players hate playing the wannabe hardman! Nial McCarthy making a show of himself against KK in the what was it 06 final? You were shitting on all morning of how Lmk played with O’Gradys trademarks yesterday and now you are saying all we want is TJ style? please make up your mind in what style Lmk play in your head Kevin you are like a blind dog chasing his tail.

Kev, you vastly overrate Cork time and again. (They’ll probably win the AI this year and you’ll mistake that for vindication).
That statement in itself is hilarious. I’d step away from the keyboard for a few hours glas.
I agree with the second part, he will be. I don’t agree that he didn’t threaten to be good, but that’s a bit of a nonsense argument to be having really. I shall not fuck myself.
Kev, you vastly overrate Cork time and again. (They’ll probably win the AI this year and you’ll mistake that for vindication). Don’t think I’ve overrated Na P players, Dowling has come good, Breen has been about as good as I’ve said he was, Downes was disappointing at the end of the year. What other Limerick players have I not critiqued fairly?
How could I over rate Cork if they win it, and surely that would be vindication, not that I or Cork need any.
Your reaction to bandage is proof enough. He called it fair and you couldn’t take it.
We’re talking about what you want, and the way you and the supporters perceive Limerick. You point to a little skirmish as some kind of victory while KK barely got involved and if anything it motivated them and them stepped it up again.
Examples of things include his refusal to admit that Shane O’Neill is not better than Richie McCarthy, let alone not a very good full back. Cork may well go on to win the all Ireland but he will still be wrong on this point. I hope that’s clear enough an example for you. There are other examples.
Shane O Neill has been excellent this year. He only had one bad day and that was last years replay, it was his 3rd, maybe 4th ever game there at IC, and nearly all the goals, bar one, were other players fault or over laps or both.
The amount of lads on here who don’t understand how full backs (and full back lines) in hurling or football can be exposed by what happened outside them is startling.

Cork have a better HB line than Limerick,Limericks have a better FB line than Cork would you agree to that?
Seamus Hickey would be on any team in the country. Not a better corner back out there right now, in better form than Murphy, Cahill or O Connor or any of them.
I’d take SON and McDonnell as the other 2 any day. Ye have out Ritchie Mac up in a pedestal that is not deserved. Where was he yesterday? He’s very hard to get around and good in close exchanges but he is very susceptible to being turned if the ball is low and isn’t that commanding around the square as shown yesterday.

He held his marker scoreless again yesterday and won a pile of pile around the square,he charged out at one stage kicked the ball upfield and it led to a cracking score! but ya he’s very poor as a FB alright.
I never said he was poor. Just not as good as ye would like to think.
He was completely out of position for first goal and didn’t command the square at all for 2nd. That ball was a backs ball and as nice a touch as it was it should never have gone in.

The 2nd goal was Tom Condons fault. He left his man free who was able to run in and strike the ball. McCarthy had his man covered and if Larkin hadn’t come in it wouldn’t have been a goal.

How can the full back be out of position when it’s a midfielder scoring the oppositions goal? Is he meant to mark the midfielder as well as the full forward?
I really hope the poor typing & comments like above are in fact a windup as I fear you are too old for remedial help back in school.
